Twenty19

The motto of Twenty19 is built on - "Listen to students, understand them, give them what they need”. The name Twenty19 symbolizes the vibrant and passionate tribe of college students in their late teens & early twenties.

Twenty19 believes that the real learning for a student lies beyond the four walls of a classroom. Students can gain meaningful knowledge and skills only when they take initiatives and get hands on experience in the real world. This platform enables students to equip themselves in the best possible way to live their dream career.

Twenty19 spent their initial days hanging around in the college canteens and corridors interacting with students to understand them and their needs. Twenty19 team adds that they exist to make real impact on real people, everyday. For them the inspiration to continuously do good come from witnessing the students benefit from twenty19. The potential to bring about a real change drives them!

Twenty19 big vision is to enable every student to be in a position to choose and pursue their dream career.

THE 99

Dr. Naif Al-Mutawa, the creator of THE 99 saw a need for new role models that children from China to Chad to Canada could relate to as their own without the parochial influence of any nation, religion or individual.

For the very same purpose Teshkeel Media Group launched THE 99 in a traditional comic book series. THE 99 are those young role models.  The idea was to offer new role models of superheroes born of Middle East history and Islamic archetypes that possess values shared by the entire world.

Although the series is based on Islamic concepts, it is promoted as appealing to universal virtues, and the religion of each character is not made explicit. The concept of The 99 is based on the 99 attributes of Allah. Many of these names refer to characteristics that can be possessed by human individuals. For example – generosity, strength, faithfulness, wisdom are all virtues encouraged by a number of faiths.

Soon THE 99 will appear on television screens throughout the world. With its production partner, Endemol UK twenty-six episodes of THE 99 animated television series are reaching completion.

The James Dyson Foundation

The James Dyson Foundation is founded by Sir James Dyson, an English industrial designer, in the year 2002 to support design and engineering education. He is best known as the inventor of the Dual Cyclone bag-less vacuum cleaner which works on cyclonic separation. The foundation encourages young people to think differently, make mistakes and invent. Its soul motive is to inspire and support future Edisons and Brunels.

On May 5, James Dyson hosted a design workshop for young students in Chicago to mark the launch of the James Dyson Foundation in the US. The foundation encourages more American students to become future engineers and inventors.

James Dyson inspirational words echoed in the heart and mind of everyone present when he said: "Young people have an innate inventive streak. They’re not stifled by experience – they take risks and are excellent problem-solvers. They fail everyday – exactly the making of a great engineer. We’re encouraging children to use their hands and heads, make mistakes and learn."

The idea of supporting good ideas with business expertise stems from James Dyson’s own experience as an inventor who was determined to develop bag-less vacuum technology and launch a business in a recession.

Another way the foundation inspires young minds is the James Dyson Awards. The James Dyson Award is an international design award that "celebrates, encourages and inspires the next generation of design engineers". It is organized and run by the James Dyson Foundation charitable trust, and is open to graduates (or recent graduates) in the fields of product design, industrial design and engineering.

Rahul Mehta-a true nationalist

Rahul Mehta, a 42 year old, is the founder member of the Right to Recall Group. A computer science graduate from IIT Delhi who later went on to do his MS in Computer Science at Rutgers University beside developing software in a US firm studied  US police, courts, Military, banking, money creation, administration etc for several years. Later, Indian Government filthy attitude compelled him to study Indian courts, police, banking, money creation, administration etc.

He contested against the mighty BJP leader Shri L.K. Advani in the last general elections only to make people aware about Right to Recall law. His uniqueness lies in the fact that his election campaign consisted of only 5 newspaper advertisements and some 20000 pamphlets without any slogans or shrills. He even for once never tried to organize rallies and poll campaigns in his favor to ouster his competitors as he thought it all to be wastage of both time and money of not only his and but the public as a whole.

He painstakingly campaigns and fight for the cause of bringing Right to Recall as one of the fundamental rights. And in absence of Right to Recall, all promises made by our politicians are useless. RRG is perhaps first and the only political group in India where donations are prohibited.
